Morning Session

8.00am - 1.00pm Our environment offers children a rich and stimulating experience with the opportunity to explore and experiment independently. Each day we have the opportunity to interact with the children on a one-to-one basis and give the support that is needed and planned for each child. We offer outdoor play in our garden every day as well as weekly lessons in PE, science, arts & crafts, music & movements. External specialist teachers include Song and Dance with Ms Annie; Karate with Sensei Ben; Playball with Coach Sean and French with Ms Nellie. Morning clubs include Cooking, Gardening, Art and Lunch club. We offer a breakfast club with a healthy variety of hot and cold foods to suit. 

Lunch Club

11.30am - 1.00pm During our lunch club (which we view as central to our curriculum), the children will sit down and eat nutritiously balanced, catered hot meal together with their friends and teachers after a busy morning. It is a splendid opportunity to contemplate and to learn further about healthy eating whilst developing language and communication skills, grace and courtesy as well as sharing and turn-taking. Each day, a 'Helper of the Day' is chosen to help cut fruit and vegetables and pour water and milk. We take into account all dietary requirements. Snacks are available throughout the day. 

 

Afternoon Session

1.00 - 6.00pm The afternoon session offers more opportunities for adult one-to-one interaction in order to help with the ethos of curating a bespoke curriculum for each child. The environment is prepared according to the children’s interests and abilities and gives a rich and stimulating experience with the opportunity to explore and experiment independently too. We offer outdoor play in our garden every day as well as weekly lessons in PE, science, arts & crafts, music & movements.  

The Afternoon Sessions are also a chance to extend the day for those children who are ready and hungry for more, especially in preparation for Big School. A hot, freshly-prepared and nutritious tea is provided (we take into account all dietary requirements). Snacks are available throughout the day.  

Full Days 

8.00am - 6.00pm Consistent and high quality attendance enhances the learning outcomes of all children and we prioritise these places throughout all of our nurseries.
